Hi, I’m Nicola — the maker, plant lover, photographer, and everything in between behind The String Garden FNQ. I live in a little place called Wondecla, nestled in the Atherton Tablelands, with my husband and our two beautiful kids.

What started as a simple side hustle has grown into a small business bursting with planty goodness. I’ve always loved plants — their calm presence, their ever-changing beauty, and the way they bring life to a space. I still get excited spotting a new leaf or tiny root. Mornings usually start with a little plant check-in around the house (some call it obsessive… I say it’s love).

When I’m not making kokedamas or wrapping moss balls, you’ll find me creating an indoor jungle at home, plant shopping, propagating cuttings, and chatting with fellow plant lovers. I truly enjoy helping others bring a little green magic into their own homes.
