Kokedama workshops

Get back to nature and create your own Japanese-inspired moss ball.

Kokedama (literally meaning "moss ball") is a beautiful and simple form of Japanese bonsai where a plant grows in a hand-shaped soil ball, wrapped in moss, and tied with string.

At The String Garden FNQ, our hands-on workshops will guide you through the process of making your own kokedama from scratch. We’ll walk you through every step and share our best tips on creating and caring for your living artwork.

Each guest will:

  • Choose their own plant

  • Learn how to shape, wrap, and tie their kokedama

  • Take home their creation along with a care card and watering guide
